My name is Friska Siallagan. I’ve ever ask my mother why she gave me the name. My mother said, “ It’s the name for the girl. So, we put that name on you.”
I was so sad when I heard her answer. My parent didn’t have any special purpose about giving name for me. I think about giving name is the amazing moment. We can pray and hope through creating and giving name. Like my friend has, his name is Marulak Aman. Maybe in our brain, it’s a curious name, but our mind’ll say that name is great. That name have a good meaning. That name means returning back the bad situation to the normal situation. How big his parent’s hoping for him. And I want the name like his. When I got teenager, I conscious that I have a nice name. I hear how my friend call my name, and I feel that name sound nice. Friska is the right name for me. Friska is the all about of my personality. Friska is me. And I am Friska. I thank so much to my parent because they gave the best name for me.

And I become a girl. I think I’m growing to be a girl like another. My friends know me as a silent girl, but not my sister. She recognize me so well. She always laugh at me when I’m dancing in front of the television. She always be angry at me when I am singing loudly. And she usually command me to sleep when I’m reading comic at midnight. And finally she gave a new name for me. She called me Frizzy. It’s the idiom from the phares Friska Crazy. I think it’s a great name and I don’t care about its mean. So I use the name for my nick name. I introduce myself in internet or to new friend as Frizzy. Everyone ask me what Frizzy means, but I don’t tell them that. Just my sister and I who know the meaning. Frizzy, what a nice nickname! I thank so much to my sister because she gave a great name for me.
I have some friends who have nick names that related or not related with their personality. They are Boyazz, Zie, Locco, and Bazz. Boyazz is Mei sibuea’s nick name. She make her nickname as Boyazz because of her family name, Sibuea. At the first time she used the name, it was so displeasing. But in around one week, we was used to call her with the name. Erika “Zie” is the pretty girl, I think the name is exact for her, no matter what the name means. Roymon “Locco” use the nick name because he like a group band that named by Saint Locco. And the last Bazz, His real name is Budi. He is a bass player in his band. So, his friend give that name for him. I like their nickname but sometimes I forget about their real name.
